 June: ACCOUNT has now commenced its COVID-19 response project funded by The National Lottery providing essential and targeted support (e.g DV befriending, food parcels) to South Asian people in West London boroughs. 

 May: ACCOUNT’s Director, Ryan Mahan, talks about the heart of international anti-colonialism that is Algiers — how it inspired his band   name, and the representation of struggle through music here

 April: As part of our partnership with the University of Birmingham (funded by the Department for Health and Social Care), we have now   finalised three models of culturally appropriate advocacy. Find out more information on our health policy page.

 February: The external evaluation of ACCOUNT's partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust Foundation, funded by NHS England, has now been shared. Feedback from the evaluation was overwhelming positive - demonstrating the need for similar work and the value of the project design and delivery. 

 January: Nadine Dorries, The Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Health and Social Care, has clarifiedthat the UK   Government will be   publishing its White Paper response on reforming the Mental Health Act in the coming months. Read about ACCOUNT's involvement in the   Independent Review
